Julian has been working on a series of images based on the Major Arcana of the Tarot. These are not based on divination or orthodox interpretations of the meaning of tarot cards. Instead, Julian is interested in the way each image can be a vessel for a range of complex ideas. There is a reading of the Major Arcana in which each image is an invitation to reflect about a particular aspect of our subjectivity, and Julian hopes that these images will function in that way.
